The Good, the Bad, and the Joy

When God calls you, joy and contentment will be cultivated in your heart.

As advertised by Job, who lost it all and was afflicted with illness, he continued praising the Lord. He exhibited that the key to joyousness is staying strong in God. And that no matter what the affliction is, never curse or turn against the Father.

But he said to her, "You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?" In all this Job did not sin with his lips.
Job 2:10

  1. Hi PK. Thank You for the up-lifting post. Job is such a great book of comfort, and Job is spoken about in James 5:11 and following. The good the bad and the joy. Very clever of our Lord to place that in your heart. We, that being Gayle and myself love you very much Kathy.
